- Characters Who Can't Defeat Naruto Uzumaki
Naruto Uzumaki is one of the most well-known anime characters in the world. In Naruto, he begins his journey as an outcast and is hated by almost everyone in Konohagakure because he is the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki. Despite this, he dreams of becoming the Hokage to earn everyone's respect. Naruto eventually grows up to be the hero of not only his home in the Hidden Leaf but of the shinobi world.

He then continues his heroic journey and becomes the Seventh Hokage of the Hidden Leaf, thus achieving his lifelong dream. Though fans celebrate Naruto's triumphant path, they know it wasn't easy. Naruto endured brutal, lifethreatening training. As a result, he acquired an incredibly powerful arsenal, which is why he's heralded as the strongest shinobi of his own world — but that doesn't mean he'd hold the same title in another anime universe.
Updated on May 22nd, 2023 by Xandalee Joseph: Naruto is one of the most powerful shonen characters in anime history. Characters Who Can Defeat Naruto Uzumaki
Light Yagami (Death Note)
Light Yagami doesn't have any real powers. He's simply a young man who's tired of the rotten world he lives in. However, when he finds a notebook previously owned by the demon Ryuk, Light discovers he can kill anyone by writing their name in it.
If Naruto entered the Death Noterealm and got on Light's bad side, he could be dead within seconds. None of his powers would save the character from his eventual demise. Therefore, he needs to make the young Yagami as happy as possible.
Vegeta (Dragon Ball)
Super Saiyans aren't named this because they have merely "okay" powers. When they ramp themselves up with the proper energy, they're as close to omnipotent as it comes. Such is the case with Vegeta, the first supervillain in Dragon Ball.
Naruto is considered the most powerful in his world, but Vegeta has the capacity for more energy attacks. Plus, when Vegeta achieves the abilities of Super Saiyan Blue or Ultra Ego, he can break his own uppermost limits.
Saiki K. (The Disastrous Life Of Saiki K.)
The main protagonist of The Disastrous Life of Saiki K doesn't want to be a hero. In fact, he doesn't want to have his amazing list of powers that include psychokinesis and teleportation. He simply wants to lead a normal life as a high school student.
If push comes to shove, Saiki K can defeat Naruto with a thought — especially if he needs to avoid being seen by others. He'll mentally knock the other fighter down or teleport him back to the village of Hidden Leaf for some peace.
Saitama (One-Punch Man)
Saitama is the main protagonist of One-Punch Man who has a lot of amazing feats to his name. For example, Saitama can jump back from the moon after it's blasted away — but perhaps most importantly (and to Saitama's dismay), he can defeat any opponent with a single punch.

Saitama has never had problems in a fight so far and has overwhelmed every opponent he's gone up against. Saitama's punches can decimate the strongest of monsters, so he'll likely have no trouble with Naruto.
Meliodas (The Seven Deadly Sins)
Meliodas is the leader of the Seven Deadly Sins from the anime of the same name. He's also the son of the Demon King. Adding to his already impressive power and speed, Meliodas can call upon Full Counter. This releases all the damage that he takes during a fight with twice the power.
Full Counter alone is an incredibly powerful move. Since Naruto mainly relies on ninjutsu, Meliodas can easily beat him. In fact, no matter how much damage Naruto causes, Meliodas could always use Full Counter and knock him out easily.
Giorno Giovanna (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)
Giorno Giovanna is the protagonist of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind. He is arguably the strongest character in the entire series, no matter which part of JoJo's they're from. This is due to his Stand, Gold Experience Requiem.
Gold Experience Requiem reverses any action that could harm Giorno, so no one can actually damage him. Giorno doesn't even need to be on guard to fend off attacks, as Gold Experience Requiem acts on its own to protect him.
Jigen (Boruto)
In Boruto, Jigen is the leader of Kara, an organization that seeks to kidnap their "vessel," Kawaki, and harvest the chakra from the God Tree. Jigen is the vessel of Isshiki Otsutsuki, who was Kaguya Otsutsuki's partner. Jigen actually fought against both Naruto and Sasuke, and he managed to defeat them thanks to his chakra prowess.
Sasuke escaped thanks to Naruto, who was captured and sealed instead. In a one-on-one battle, Naruto stands absolutely no chance whatsoever, especially considering he's already beaten Naruto before.
Goku (Dragon Ball)
Goku from Dragon Ball is perhaps the ultimate shonen hero. His continuous goal of becoming stronger and stronger makes him a worthy contender. Only a handful of characters come close to Goku in terms of strength.

Goku has enough power to destroy planets on his own. Furthermore, he can utilize Hakai/Destruction to erase anything from existence. Goku is always innovating his own strength, so no matter what Naruto comes up with, Goku could find a way to blast through it.
Characters Who Can't Defeat Naruto Uzumaki
Asta (Black Clover)
Despite his transformation from a whiny underdog to a powerful wizard, Black Clover's Asta can't take down Naruto. In fact, there's a good chance he would be defeated at any stage in his training. Strength, speed, and new muscles don't matter when Naruto is faster and stronger than he is.
Of course, with the use of his magical sword, Asta could battle Naruto to a standstill. Nevertheless, once they both got their wind back, the latter would probably release an attack. Naruto could definitely take Asta down for good.
Heroman (Heroman)
Naruto has battled bigger. Demons, monsters, and general baddies — they've all tried to beat the hero of Hidden Leaf and failed. So, the robot Heroman doesn't stand a chance against the best shinobi in the Hidden Leaf.
It's true that Heroman would come close to defeating Naruto, but it would be a shallow victory. Naruto would recover quickly and smash through Heroman's metal body with a powerful Rasengan-based attack.
Gon Freecs (Hunter X Hunter)
Naruto and Gon Freecs of Hunter x Hunter have something in common: they're both underdogs who desire a greater level of acceptance. While Naruto is more dedicated to this effort, the young Gon can't get things straight.

There's no doubt Gon's a powerful individual. Besides his natural powers, he has a Nen that grows in strength as he learns. However, it isn't until he makes a contract to become an adult with nearly unstoppable powers that he understands his capabilities.
Jotaro Kujo (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)
Jotaro Kujo is quite possibly the most popular JoJo. He played the lead role in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders and returned again for Diamond is Unbreakable and Stone Ocean. He possesses Star Platinum, which is one of the strongest Stands in the entire series.
Star Platinum has great destructive power and the ability to stop time for a maximum of five seconds. However, Jotaro's power won't cause trouble for Naruto. He can heal any damage he's been dealt before finishing Jotaro off.
Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece)
Luffy is the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates in One Piece. He has become one of the strongest pirates to roam the seas. He did this when he ate the Gum-Gum Devil Fruit, which grants his body all the properties of rubber.
In addition, Luffy can use three types of Haki and predict the actions of his opponents with the help of his future sight. Though he packs a strong punch, Luffy's powers pale in comparison to Naruto's. His most powerful ninjutsu could take Luffy down.
Tanjiro Kamado (Demon Slayer)
Demon Slayer sent waves throughout the shonen community when its first season dropped. As the crux of the series' attention, Tanjiro's popularity soared. He's a member of the Demon Corps, and he has gone up against very strong enemies already.

Tanjiro's fighting abilities are enhanced by Breathing Techniques. These provide him with enough power to kill demons. However, Naruto's power is on an entirely different level. More importantly, though, Tanjiro's fighting style and weapons are meant to destroy demons, not humans.
Eren Yeager (Attack On Titan)
Eren Yeager from Attack on Titan can transform into one of the monstrous creatures at will. In this form, he gains strength, endurance, and healing powers. He can easily take out other Titans and possesses the resolve to push through a fight.
Without a doubt, Eren is one of the strongest fighters in his series. Still, he can't take on someone like Naruto. After all, Naruto almost destroyed the moon with a simple punch, a feat that Eren could never hope to achieve.
All Might (My Hero Academia)
All Might is considered more than just a hero; he was considered the Symbol of Peace in My Hero Academia. All Might had the Quirk One For All, which is one of the strongest Quirks in the My Hero Academia universe, especially considering it gets stronger every time it's passed down to a new user.
In his prime, no villain could dare to stand up to All Might, and he could definitely put up a decent fight against Naruto. Unfortunately, the chances of him emerging victorious are minuscule. Even though All Might possesses superhuman abilities, he'd likely crumble under the power of ninjutsu.
